14.3 acres of unimproved mountain woodland, no trails established, on Eylers Valley Flint Rd. in the northern part of Frederick County.

Audrey Carroll Audubon Sanctuary

130+ acres of rolling Piedmont hills, partly wooded, and partly old farm returning to grasslands, with some lowland marshy area as well. Very diverse habitats, and great variety of birds to be seen year round. Located on Old Annapolis Road in the eastern part of the County. Contact us for more information.

Lily Pons Fish Hatchery...

on Lily Pons Road just west of Sugarloaf Mountain. Year round good habitat for shorebirds, wading birds, and songbirds as well.

C&O Canal trail...

along the Potomac River. Various access points along the canal. Great year round birding and hiking.
