Meetings are open to members and some chapters welcome guests. Field trips may be restricted to members and may require reservations. Special instructions and restrictions are usually noted in the item summary. MOS members should check The Yellowthroat for additional information on any scheduled activity, including contact information for field trip leaders.

Chapters should send all calendar information and updates to Marilyn Veek, the MOS calendar editor. After compiling the information from all of the chapters, Marilyn forwards it to The Yellowthroat editor, Richard Donham. The deadline for submissions is listed in each copy of The Yellowthroat -- currently it's the 20th of the month preceding publication.

MOS Board Meetings are quarterly and usually occur on the first Saturdays of March, June, September (or second Saturday of September to avoid Labor Day weekend), and December at 10 AM. Locations vary and rotate among host chapters. The MOS Board consists primarily of the executive officers, chapter presidents, chapter directors, and committee chairs. The meetings are open to all members of MOS. Refer to the Calendar for meeting locations or contact the MOS Secretary for the future schedule.

Check the listings from the Yellowthroat below for the lastest schedule; last minute additions and revisions also will be posted here.

Waiver Agreement regarding Field Trip Participation (including the required parent's signature for their children). For your safety, please read this before attending an MOS field trip.
