Regulations for Conducting Research and/or Collecting Specimens
Sanctuary Visitation RegulationsIndividuals may visit any MOS Sanctuary to hike designated trails, etc., without prior reservation. Large groups should notify, in advance, the reservation contact for Carey Run, or in the case of the other sanctuaries, Sanctuary Committee Chair Brent Byers.Overnight stays are allowed only at Irish Grove and Carey Run sanctuaries and require advance reservations. Observe the following NO's: Weapons, drugs, all-terrain vehicles, tree cutting, pets, hunting. If you have a problem or observe any damage when visiting a sanctuary, please notify Sanctuary Committee Chair Brent Byers. Take all your garbage and trash with you when you leave. Regulations for Conducting Research and/or Collecting SpecimensIndividuals and/or organizations wishing to conduct research at any MOS sanctuary must have the consent of the Sanctuary Committee and approval of the Research Committee. Make applications to the chair of the Sanctuary Committee. Upon the consent of the Sanctuary Committee, the application will be forwarded to the Research Committee for approval. |
